Design Inspiration – Serenade of the moon
This brooch evokes the serene beauty of a moonlit night. At its heart, a luminous osmium moon symbolizes timeless tranquility. Diamonds shimmer like distant stars, infusing the piece with a celestial essence. White gold mirrors the soft ripples of water, while delicate light blue and violet sapphires reflect the moon’s gentle glow—capturing the quiet dance of light across the ocean’s surface. The composition is a poetic harmony of elements, embodying stillness, elegance, and the magic of nightfall.
About the Designer
I am an Indonesian jewelry designer whose unexpected journey into luxury design began during an internship in Bali in 2012. After earning a degree in industrial design, I pursued advanced studies in luxury goods design in Milan. Since then, I’ve collaborated with renowned houses including John Hardy in Bali, Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris, and Autore Pearls in Australia. My work blends artistic storytelling with technical craftsmanship, guided by a romantic belief that jewelry can capture intangible emotions. I am driven by curiosity and a love for innovation—constantly exploring new materials and creative techniques to push the boundaries of contemporary jewelry design.

Berke Henny – 2nd place (Netherlands)
Design inspiration – Osmé
Osmé reimagines osmium as more than a material—it becomes the soul of the design. Inspired by osmium’s physical states (solid, liquid, gas), I created earrings that merge structure and fluidity. Solid osmium is used as inlay; its fluid and gaseous forms are echoed through flowing, organic shapes. Platinum accents enhance both elegance and movement. The result is a sophisticated, body-contouring piece that brings life and dynamism to osmium’s typically rigid nature—elevating it from static to sensuous.
About the designer
I’m Berke, a freelance jewelry designer and certified goldsmith with a passion for expressive materials and forms. My career began at Herman Romberg, royal court supplier in the Netherlands, where I crafted for VIP clients before opening my own atelier. Now, as a designer and illustrator, I collaborate with high-end brands to transform bold concepts into wearable art.

Pasquale Rossi – 3rd place (United Kingdom)
Design Inspiration – VOYEUR
Voyeur explores the blurred line between watching and being watched in the digital age. Inspired by the voyeuristic nature of social media, this ring symbolizes the tension between connection and detachment. The octagonal osmium sheet, shaped like a lock, represents both protection and exposure. A central keyhole invites introspection—echoing our endless scrolling for meaning or distraction. This piece challenges us to reflect on whether we are discovering new emotions or simply lost in passive observation.
About the designer
Pasquale Rossi is a jewelry artist who blends emotion, architecture, and technology into deeply symbolic creations. With each design, he invites wearers to engage with layered narratives that provoke thought and reflection. His work transforms jewelry into a medium of storytelling and emotional dialogue.

Hicham Aguedach – 4th place (Morocco)
Ondine, Poetry in Motion
The Ondine set—necklace and earrings—draws inspiration from the gentle ripple of water stirred by a single drop. At its core, a gradient circle captures this fleeting moment, evoking nature’s quiet elegance and the fluid poetry of movement. Crystalline osmium, with its rare shimmer and liquid-like glow, embodies water in its most precious form. Its bluish reflections echo the calm surface of a serene pond, merging strength and grace. With soft curves and flowing lines, Ondine is a tribute to feminine freedom—fluid, radiant, and ever in motion.
